Brent Fischer +The Clare Fischer Latin Jazz Group will play a
Clare Fischer and Cal Tjader musical salute on Friday, January 8, at 8
pm at Pete Carlsons Golf and Tennis’ Jazz for Jazz Lovers Series.

Brent Fischer is the bandleader, bassist, and percussionist, Quinn
Johnson on piano and keyboards, Craig Fundyga on vibes, Kevin Ricard
on percussion, Anderson Quintero on drums, and Alex Budman on woodwinds.

Brent Fischer is a two time Grammy award winner, composer, arranger,
and son of well known Latin Jazz musician and composer, Clare
Fischer.  Brent  has a 30 year association with Clare and is an
integral part of the

well known Latin Jazz group, Salsa Picante. This talented group will
perform well known compositions of Clare Fischer and Cal Tjader . Both
of these latin jazz artists are two of the most influential musicians
that ever performed in

the latin jazz idiom. This sextet is sure to provide an evening of
powerful and high energy music that will lift you off your feet.
